I can describe the exact details, the times that the misery cut through to the gut.
The soreness of the acts which I find difficult to forget, yet at times, the soft humanity side starts to yield.
Especially since we all had to drag our asses for the farewell, and then realising that we were one of the few who even bothered to turn up.

It is indeed the end of an era.
An era of calender-busting appointments, one after another. An era of mindless trudge…
But while not yearning for the past intensity, there is a dreaded fear that perhaps i’m enroute to degeneration.

life is not complex, human beings make it so.

What if you worked in a place where…
- the people at the top are foreigners from the same country (incl. the boss)
- they gather together at lunch time almost everyday to have pungent homemade meals
- they constantly speak in their own language, commenting and laughing loudly
- they only trust each other and consider each other friends
- they have no desire to engage with the locals, thinking that they are not capable or would never be able to reach the required standards
- they believe that men will rule the world, women are around to be housewives and take care of children

hmmm…. tough question.

end note:
Some other important things I forgot…
- they alternate walking in and out of the boss’ room throughout the day
- they sometimes whistle in the middle of the day, for a continuous period of time
- in late evenings when deadlines loom they have a tendency to blast their local music

being recently obsessed wii, i feel a whole lost childhood coming backas i smash, hook, jiggle, twist and stomp my way into high scores.  naturally my weekends are very fulfilling, but so are weekday nights after work and sometimes even week day days before work. life before this is but a faint memory

on the other end of the spectrum, wifi (and hopefully if people get their act together, wimax) is a pain. no matter how i toggle, twist, stomp, that darn thing just doesn’t sustain a connection beyond half an hour. and it is made all the more painful given that i sit 2 meters away from it.
